When servicing the VP415 it is usually necessary to remove the upper part of the deck and place the laserdisc directly over the optical deck of the player (to allow access to the modules for testing, repair and calibration). In order to stop the disc from slipping too much the service manual recommends the use of a magnetic lock that snaps in place over the disc's hub. Since it is no longer possible to obtain this part the STL file below allows you to print a replacement using a 3D printer. You will also need 2 magnets (10mm diameter) that are glued into the plastic in the provided recesses:
