BeebSCSI gets a PCB

The first professionally made PCBs have now been delivered and the latest BeebSCSI prototype is up and running.  The following pictures show the top and bottom sides of the PCB after population (this is board version 7_5):

BeebSCSI and VP415 emulation demo

We’ve just uploaded a video to YouTube showing BeebSCSI (working in a real Acorn Master Turbo) communicating with our beta version of the VP415 laser disc emulator (which is currently running on Windows).  You can take a look at our Domesday emulation progress (so far) in the video below:

Community disc tutorial – and other updates

Philips VP415

The Philips VP415 section (under hardware) has been updated with photos of the laser disc player, the operation manual, the service manual and images of some of the internal EPROMs.  The service manual is a comprehensive guide (of nearly 200 pages) covering all aspects of the player including detailed circuit schematics.

Countryside Disc information and manual available

Information is now available for the Countryside disc including a short excerpt video from the disc showing the farm you have to manage as part of the interactive educational experience.  The article includes the disc’s graphics, pictures of the video disc itself and a high-quality copy of the original manual.  Please visit the disc’s page for more information.

SmallyMouse – Marconi RB2 trackerball compatible USB mouse interface
